Beginner Division Illegal Marker List

*To encourage young players, new players and players on a strict budget to become a part of competitive paintball in the Carolina Field Owners
  Association, teams and players competing in the Beginner Division must conform to the following paintball gun classifications.
*No "tournament-level" paintball guns will be allowed in the beginner division.
*Mechanical paintball guns and entry-level electronic paintball guns will be allowed in the Beginner division provided they meet the following
  criteria:
*Electronic Spyder paintball guns are allowed in the Beginner division but must be set to SEMI AUTOMATIC mode
*Electronic Spyder paintball guns are allowed in the Beginner division but must not be equipped with aftermarket chips, boards or anti-chop eyes of
  any kind
*Electronic Tippmann paintball guns will be allowed in the Beginner division but must be set to SEMI AUTOMATIC mode
*The following paintball guns will NOT be allowed in the CFOA Beginner Division
   -All WDP Angel paintball guns models including Angel, LCD, IR3, 4, Fly, Speed, etc...
   -All Bob Long Intimidator models including Classic, 2k2, Lasoya, Alias, Russian Legion, Naughty Dog, Dark, ECX, etc...
   -All Bob Long Intimidator clones including System X NME
   -All E-Blade-equipped Autococker models or Clones
   -All Matrix and DYE DM-Model paintball guns including Matrix, DM4, DM5, ProtoMatrix
   -All electronic Automag models including E-Mag, X-Mag, Hypermag, Devilmag, etc...
   -All ICD Bushmaster and Bushmaster variants including Bushmaster & B2K
   -All Smart Parts paintball gun models including Nerve, Shocker, Impulse and Ion
   -All Spyder or Spyder clones equipped with anti-chop eyes or aftermarket boards or chips including XSF Spyder,
    Action Markers Diadem, etc...
   -Odyssey, OGI or Dragun tournament paintball guns
   -Eclipse EGO
   -ICD Freestyle
   -Mayhem
   -Powerlyte Hybrid
   -Powerlyte Isis
*While this list is complete and authoritative as of its creation to the best of the knowledge of the CFOA management, the CFOA Advisory Board
  and referees reserve the right to examine, shoot, allow or disallow any paintball gun in the Beginner Division at their discretion.  Any player
  possessing a paintball gun that, according to the above standards,may be in question as legal in the CFOA Beginner Division is urged to contact
  the CFOA Advisory Board or Promoter as quickly as possible to determine its legality, to prevent a paintball gun from being deemed illegal on the
  day of an event.
